Target Your Sciatic Pain with Gentle Flossing Exercises
This video guides you through a series of exercises designed to target leg pain caused by sciatica or lumbar radiculopathy.
The exercises use a technique called neurodynamic mobilization, also known as nerve flossing. This gentle movement helps reduce irritation of the sciatic nerve.
Start Slow and Listen to Your Body
Begin by performing 3-5 repetitions of each exercise. Pay attention to your pain or numbness. If the pain worsens or travels down your leg, stop and consult your doctor.
Feeling Improvement?
If you experience pain relief, increased range of motion, and the discomfort seems to be moving away from your foot, you can gradually increase the number of repetitions per set. You may also consider adding more sessions throughout the day.
